Keeping Your Pool Safe for the Whole Family

Safety of the family should always be given proper attention in any way possible, be it inside or outside the house. But in some cases, your loved-ones can get harmed even around the premises of your own home.

Swimming pool is one of the areas in the house where accidents usually occur. Pool drowning is one of the leading causes of injuries and death among kids ages 12 and below. This alarming fact should be an eye-opener for pool owners to be responsible enough in keeping the pool a safe place for everyone.

Here are some important pool safety precautions:

1. Install pool alarm

Pool alarm is a device used to prevent any accidents around the pool area. It has a siren connected inside the house so parents’ attention can be caught easily once a movement is detected in the pool area.

2. Cover your pool with safety cover

In some cases, pool drowning is caused by an open pool in which kids can easily get access to. When the pool is not in use, it is advisable to cover it with a safety pool cover to give kids no access on it without adult supervision.

3. Install pool safety fence
